Let me share a bit about me and my life. Let me say, “I’m loving life!” The power of Jesus Christ has transformed me.
God has a plan for your life! Jesus came that we might have life more abundantly. God has a plan for everyone, but it is not that easy to find. My hope is to help you find God’s plan for your life through Biblical Principles for a Better Life and Christian Life Coaching.
I am an ordained minister in the South Texas District of the Church of the Nazarene denomination. And I have been serving in ministry for 25 years. I have been a Lead Pastor for 22 and I have been serving at CrossRoads Community Church in San Antonio, Texas.
Throughout my ministry, I have counseled couples, singles, and teens with Biblical principles helping them to find God’s plan and a better life. The Bible says whatever you do, get wisdom. Biblical, Godly wisdom is the centerpiece of abundant life.
I received my undergrad from Texas Tech University where I received a Bachelor’s degree in Spanish. I received Biblical training for ordination through the South Texas District Church of the Nazarene. I have a Master of Science in Christian Counseling from Grand Canyon University. I interned at Olive Branch Counseling and Training Center in San Antonio, Texas. I am also pursuing a Doctorate of Ministry specializing in Spiritual Formation from Nazarene Theological Seminary.
Christian Life Coaching and Spiritual Direction
Life Coaching is very similar to counseling. Being trained as a Christian counselor, I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with Biblical Integration. Using the techniques of mainstream psychology but through a prism of Biblical principles, I will help you apply the power of God’s word specifically to the wounds of the past for emotional healing. This site deals with anxiety, depression, life adjustment, and marital and parenting issues.
But Life Coaching goes further. The goal is not to heal from the past but to pursue God’s good, pleasing, and perfect will for your life (Romans 12:2). The goal is not getting out of depression but finding the abundant life God wants for you.
